Nope once I cleared the doorway there was NO FEAR just the thrill of floating thru the sky what a rush.. now if I could only include my other favorite hobby while skydiving.....

Had one jump many years go, nothing like it..but as I was standing on the wing of the plane I said I can't do this and the instructor said it's the only way down!!! So I sang "pennies from heaven" as I descended...Awesome trip! In those days you could jump with just a static line, no tandem... Babygirl

By the way Smile, I was 82nd airborne for 13 months state side before I went to Vietnam.

Always thought about it...but thats as far as I went.
My best girlfriend from 4th grade to today does it, and swears by it. She says it is the most exhillerating and so freeing. She's got tapes of her doing it, so I just decided to live vicariously through her.
When I used to fly, I remember looking out the windows getting close to landing and think, "I wonder if I could do it?" Then I'd just take the jumpseat, and thank the good Lord I was in a big silver bullet at the time.
But I'll certainly cheer you on! That feeling you've got is about the same way I felt about one day riding my own bike. It's a feeling like no other once you accomplish something you set out to do...so go for it!

Nope, Sexybaby. It doesn't. I'm credited with over 200 jumps, but the truth is; I only jumped once. The rest were pushes. LOL
